Drowning In A Sea Of Sin

Billions all around us are drowning in a sea of sin. They seem to believe that they are splashing around in a cool and delightful wading pool. They are blissfully unaware that the wading pool will inevitably become a sea and will drown them just as surely as the waters of Noah*s flood drowned everyone on earth but those eight believing souls. Jesus is like an internal and eternal life-preserver that is available to all. But most reject Him.

1 John 5:11-12: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Matthew 7:13-14: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

There is no square inch on earth where the gospel has not gone via radio and television waves.

Matthew 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Those of us with Jesus in our hearts could be lifted out of the growing sea of sin into the clouds AT ANY MOMENT!!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Are you comforted that you have Jesus in your heart? Are you troubled that most people do not? Are you praying for them? Are you witnessing to some of them? Are you telling them they need Jesus? If not, why not?
